Accessibility

According to the United States Census Bureau approximately twenty percent of the population over the age of five has a disability of some type. The Elder Consumer Protection Program is committed to making its web site accessible to all. We are constantly reviewing our site to make certain that all pages are in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. We recognize that accessible information technology can be a powerful tool to reach our community. Moreover, increasing the accessibility of our web site improves functionality for everyone, not just for people with disabilities.

If you would like more information about web site accessibility please feel free to visit the the Web Accessibility Initiative's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and the U.S. Section 508 guidelines for accessibility adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board (Access Board) of the U.S. Federal government.

If you see a need to make the website more accessible, please send us an email letting us know what we can do.
